WORSHIP SERVICE INFORMATION FOR SUNDAY 10/02/2011

Saints...Oh what a fellowship, oh what a joy divine, leaning on the everlasting arms! In all things, let's give him praise. My sincere gratitude to all that helped me celebrate my 9th Pastoral Anniversary. It was truly a blessing of wonderful ministry in song, dance, and the preached Word. Both Minister Andre Bennett and Pastor Collins had powerful words from the Lord. We were blessed.

This week I am starting a new series entitled "Reaping the Bountiful Blessing." The goal of this series is to teach and demonstrate Biblical truths about people of faith and the money that God has given them and the blessings that God promises as a result of good stewardship.

PRIMARY TEXT: Malachi 3:10 NIV
Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.

WHAT THE SERMON IS ABOUT: How we are to handle our money and the blessings we miss when we do not practice good stewardship

SUGGESTED CHILDREN'S MESSAGE: Let’s teach the idea of us as stewards of what really belongs to God and our responsibility to give back.

RESPONSIVE READING: #607 Blessings From God

OCTOBER MEMORY VERSE:
1 Timothy 6:10 "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs." (NIV)

I thank God for you...

1Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.
2And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.
3And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
4They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
5Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
6This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
7So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
8And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
9And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
10When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
11She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
12Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
